For one, it is said Firefox, not FireFox, as indicated on the website. Therefore, the abbreviation would not be FF, it would be Ff, or just Firefox.
I used to use Firefox untill I found out how much memory it uses. Up to 100,000 KB. The truth is, Firefox 3 is slower in Internet Explorer 7*.
Firefox is actually a horrible browser. There are a lot of Firefox myths, such as it having lower system requirements then Internet Exploer 7, this is not true at all. Firefox's minimum system requirements are Pentium 233 MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, 52MB of HD space and Windows 98 or sooner.
While Internet Explorer 7's system requirements are 66 MHZ CPU, 16MB of RAM, 11.5MB of HD space and Windows 98 or sooner.¹

Opera is currently the most Secure Web Browser in Windows.
Myth:
Firefox supports extensions and Opera does not. Reality: Opera supports extensions known as
Widgets.
Myth:
Firefox was the first Web Browser to include Tabbed Browsing. Reality: Opera was the first browser to introduce tabbed browsing back in 1994 while Firefox tabbed browsing arrived in 2004.
