Free-OS discs by mail. If you've got limited bandwidth, or no ability to easily burn ISO disc images, we now download, burn and mail free os's. The cost is $5 for the first disc and $2 for each additional disc.

Free-OS means any operating system that is available to download for free. Most Linux and BSD based operating systems, for example.

We ship to the U.S. and Canada Only. We burn next day, and ship first class. So you should have your discs in 2-4 days! No waiting 6 weeks here.

The New, Smoooooooth WhatsMyIP.org

In addition to the new look of the site, we've added some fancy Web2.0 style stuff to all the site's forms. This means they all load their data in place, and give you, the users, a much more pleasant experience. No more forms that yank you up or down the page when you submit them. Everything is super smooth and fast.

Site Redesign Underway

We are now in the process of redesigning the site. While the work is underway, some pages may go through periods where they don't work right, or are visually . . . messed up. Don't worry, everything will be back to normal, but much better looking, once the work is done.

And in the meanwhile, if you want to comment on the new look of the site, feel free to do so! There's a thread about it in our forum HERE

For Sale, Maybe?

I'm exploring the idea of selling this website to make more time for other endeavors. I have by no means made any solid decisions yet, however feel free to make me an offer.
You'd be buying the whole deal, the domain name, the content, all the code.
You would have to get your own hosting though, since I run the site off my own server. But I could host it as long as you need to set up your own hosting.
Offers with fewer than 6 digits in them will be ignored.

New Feature: Make Your Own iPhone Ringtone Tutorial

We just added a new tutorial to the site. It's a step by step how-to on making your own iPhone ringtones using your own non-DRM iTunes music. All you need is GarageBand, which pretty much every Mac already has. Sorry windows users, this one isn't for you. So if you are sick of the iPhone's default ringtones, and don't feel like paying $1 each for new tones, just rip your favorite CD and then follow these steps.

Its pretty similar to the existing generator, but it has predefined lengths that are better tuned for WPA. We also made a few UI changes that should make the tool easier to use. The passwords are no longer really small when viewed from FireFox, and the passwords are now all monospace fonts.

First PixelAd Sale!

Go Us! We sold our first PixelAd today. It only takes one for the page to have been a success. But hopefully we will sell many many more. Check it out for yourself! And if you are looking for an interesting, unique way to promote your website... this just might be it!

New Tool: Upside Down Text Tool

File this one under time-wasters. This fun little tool takes text you type, and flips it upside down. It doesn't really flip the text, it uses non-english letters to simulate upside down english text. Its still really neat though!

Update: Two New AppleScripts Available

We just added two new AppleScripts to our arsenal. One is a Folder to Disk Image tool. Drop a folder on this script, and it makes a compressed disk image of the folder.
The other is a script that uses the unix 'file' command to identify file types. If you have a file and you don't know what it is, drop it on this script and it will scan through the file and tell you exactly what it is.

Update: Added Port 587 To Security Port Sniffer

Minor update today.
