The End. Below are a few pics of the finished product. Now someone emailed me and told me that, at the end of this tutorial, I am allowed to ask you, the reader, for something. So here goes. If you like this tutorial, I ask that if you are going to purchase anything from the parts list below, that you click through thier little images and buy from Amazon. If you do, I'll get a small affiliate commision. And that would be just swell. Now scroll down and check out these last pics.
That's it. Just pop in your Silence Audio CD and the radio will start picking up audio from the iPod. This is how I keep mine, loose like that.
Just slide the drink holder cover closed, and no one would ever know you had an iPod in there. I prefer it like this, I don't want to tempt any would-be iPod thieves.
You could also plug the dock connector and your new audio cable into the back of a real dock, and then mount the dock somewhere. I couldn't find any good places to mount the dock though. Maybe if you have an automatic, you could place it behind the shifter.
Another plus of having it loose, is that even back seat passengers have full, easy access to the iPod ©2000-2009 / Contact Us / Facebook / Forum |
